Prostate Information

The prostate is a small gland about the size of a walnut which is situated just beneath the bladder. It produces some of the juices which are essential in helping the sperms to be fertile inside the woman. In addition the prostate is involved in controlling the flow of urine and directing the flow of semen to the outside world when a man ejaculates.
